A client close to my heart, this was my second commercial photography campaign for Deutsche Telekom. As creative as a concept can get, we introduced Peter—the fourth member of our family, who also happens to be a cat.
This project required meticulous planning on all fronts due to the challenges of working with live animals. For such projects, it is essential to be highly responsive and agile in case of any necessary adjustments; the TV commercial shoot, photo campaign, and social media content were all being shot simultaneously, so we needed to be ready to shoot at almost any moment. We spent five days filming in Vienna with an incredible film team and crew, led by director James Rouse and director of photography Antonio Paladino.
With full support and extensive preparation from the advertising agency adam&eve, along with film productions TPFilm and Das Rund, my team and I were able to capture the key visuals for Deutsche Telekom’s latest “Happy Hour” campaign within a remarkably short time frame.
Special thanks to producer Dali Grujcic (Das Rund), Carlo Walther and Daniel Dexter (TPFilm) for their trust, 1st AD Marc de Keller for his patience and agility in occasional reroutes, gaffer Manual Nevosad and his team for their lighting expertise, stylist Lotte Waldmann, and makeup artist Lilla Sasvari for bringing their best work to the table. I couldn’t have delivered without the support of my assistant, Oana Olariu. Last but not least, thank you to the whole team from the agency—Meike, Dominique, Christian, Fabio, and Septhan—and ultimately, thank you, Christine. I hope to see you all soon!
